Five Ten has released their newest iteration of what is likely the most popular flat pedal mountain bike shoe on the market, the Freerider Pro. Although it’s possibly not as cool as the lights that came in the soles of LA Gear’s back in the day, this new version of the Freerider Pro, the Freerider Pro BOA does don a very useful mechanism that is sure to improve your riding experience.

The Freerider Pro BOA has all of the same safety features as the Freerider Pro, such as Stealth rubber soles, a reinforced toecap, a cushioned midsole, easy-to-clean synthetic uppers, and more, but with a really convenient feature included. The addition of the BOA system has made one of the most popular shoes on the market that much better. The BOA dial adds more comfort, allowing fine micro adjustment to tailor how the shoe fits and it also makes it easy to toss on remove after a ride.
